Width:

Brahma XS is only available in extra small width of 3/8” (9.5 mm). The material is skinny, lightweight, and super flexible!

Length:

Brahma XS is available in any length ranging from 4 to 50 feet long. Established lengths include: 4ft, 6ft, 8ft, 10ft, 15ft, 20ft, 33ft, and 50ft.

If you need a length that is not listed, you can modify the leash to make it longer or shorter. To do so, select the length of the leash that is closest to the desired length and add the leash to your cart. Next, go to our webpage called Add Features – Modify or customize your lead. On that page, specify the leash you want modified and then select an option to modify the length. There are two options:

1. Modify the length: shorter
2. Modify the length: longer, starting at.

Select the option that you need, indicate the desired overall length in Notes or Special Requests (just above the Add to Cart button) and then add it to your cart. Now you can continue shopping or checkout, and we’ll take it from there!

Example: You need a leash that is 25ft. long. Begin by selecting 20ft. for the leash length. Add the leash to your cart and then go to our webpage Add Features – Modify or customize your lead. Under “What product would you like to modify?”, type the description of the leash to be modified (ie: 20ft Brahma Lead XS). Next, select the Modify the length: Make longer and in the Notes or Special Requests box (just before the Add to Cart button) indicate the leash length that is being requested. For example: “Please make 20ft Brahma Lead XS 25ft long”. Finally, Add to Cart and you’re all done! Once we receive your order, we will review it and if we have any questions we will reach out to you.

XS Leashes available in Black Brahma only.

Brahma soft-grip is a man-made leather alternative. It is flexible and has a nice weight and feel that resembles leather. It won’t absorb dirt/moisture or pick up burrs like rope or nylon leads.

Hardware:

Standard hardware are bolt snaps as they have proven to be the most reliable hardware. Choose stainless steel or solid brass.

Other hardware options include:

• Small Locking Carabiner Snap: choose this snap if you require a secure leash that will not come unclipped accidentally! This snap has a locking mechanism that screws down to lock closed. BLD exclusive specialty hardware! Solid brass only.
• Tiny Spring Snap: German hardware made by Herm Sprenger is extra tiny and of exceptional quality. Perfect for very small dogs or other small pets. Stainless steel only. 
  Please know this snap WILL NOT FIT on large gauge D-rings or O-rings. It fits on BLD’s 5/8″ wide collar D-rings, but nothing larger.

Strong as a Brahma bull, this man-made leather alternative is great for your adventurous pal. It is constructed with webbing on the inside and a durable, non-tacky PVC coating on the outside. This material can take a beating through brush, muck, and saltwater. Brahma is great for any extreme weather condition, resilient in cold weather, and is resistant to abrasions and stink. It is a nice weight, flexible, and has a feel that resembles leather. It won’t absorb dirt & moisture like rope, nylon or fabric. Brahma material is so reliable that it comes with our unmatched Lifetime Warranty! Plus it is easy to clean: Just wipe clean with soap and water.

If your leather lead, Brahma lead, training equipment, or harness ever breaks or is damaged from regular use, simply contact Bold Lead Designs for a replacement or repair at no charge. There is no time limit. This is the best warranty in the industry.

Warranty is limited to replacement or repair of covered product only, and does not cover things outside of our control such as chewing, neglect, misuse, normal wear, external trauma, or customer alterations. Bold Lead Designs reserves the right to determine if a repair or replacement is covered by our warranty. Items we don’t make in our workshop, such as accessories and consumable items, are excluded. Note: bldBASICS, any item sold as used or imperfect or marked with a star is excluded from this warranty or guarantee.

Limitation of Damages:

Guarantee/Warranty is limited to replacement or repair of product only. Bold Lead Designs, LLC, or its associates, cannot be responsible for any claims or liabilities beyond the scope of the guarantee. Chewing, neglect and misuse, customer alterations, external trauma, and items marked with a star void all warranties. No other warranties, expressed or implied, are made. User assumes all responsibility for proper and safe use of product and care of animal. Customer pays for shipping for warranty claims. This warranty is nontransferable.

If the product sustained damage under normal use, and is covered under warranty, we will make it right at no charge (just pay for shipping).

Non-warranty repairs and alterations may be available, even for chewing and external damage. Repair costs start at $5 plus shipping. We will provide an accurate quote upon assessing the damage.

What to do: Tell us what product you have and what the issue is. If you can, please email us photos of the damage so that we can determine the best solution (repair, replacement, or something else). Usually we will have you mail the item to us, in which case we ask that you send the item to us with a completed Warranty-Repair Form. Please download, fill it in, print, and include with your return.

All warranty claims and repairs must be accompanied by the form otherwise we won’t know what to do with your item when received. If you don’t have a printer, you may write out all the pertinent information on a paper and include it with the item. Customer is responsible for all related shipping costs.
