Product Description

An exclusive BLD product to ensure your dog stays securely connected.

Safety cords are a smart, simple, and inexpensive accessory to keep your dog safe. Attach one to your leash, and now you can clip your leash to BOTH a collar and a training tool.

Having having two points of attachment provides peace of mind knowing your dog is still connected should something break or an accident occur. Use with flat collars, head halters, prong collars, martingales, front clip harnesses, or any type of training tool.

Safety Cords are great for:

  • Houdini dogs who somehow wriggle their way out of their gear
  • Reactive dogs and those prone to bolting and running away
  • Rescues and shelters to keep dogs safe on walks (The ASPCA orders hundreds every year!)

Pro pricing discounts are available for bulk orders of 6 or more, mix and match. Please contact us to order in bulk.

Material Styles

Reflective Paracord material is narrow and super lightweight making it perfect for any breed; made from the highest quality 1150 pound (521.6 kg) rated multifilament paracord  that is made in the USA. Our paracord is hollow (flat) to reduce bulk and weight, yet maintains superior strength and durability. Para Safety Cords are 3/8" wide (9.5 mm) and 8.5 inches long (21.5 cm). Black and neon colors are reflective! Camo is non-reflective to blend in.

Smooth Nylon material is great for large to giant dogs; made from premium tubular nylon material and have a larger snap for extra strength and durability. Smooth Nylon Safety Cords 1/2 inch wide (12.7 mm.) and 10.5 inches long (26.7 cm.).

All varieties have lightweight zinc bolt snaps. Flat and nylon varieties are handmade in Colorado.
