These beautiful collars are made from the same premium quality materials and hardware as our awesome leads. Unique double-D-ring design lets you use one ring for holding ID tags and the other for attaching the leash. These are heavy-duty collars sized for dogs over 30 pounds (13.5 kg)
Crafted without stitching for long-lasting quality—each collar features beveled edges that are smooth to the touch and gentle on your dog’s coat. Go ahead, let your dog go swimming and roll in the mud—quality natural leather will outlast any fabric or woven material.
NOTE: Electronic devices will not fit this collar, our quality materials are too thick.

Sizing/Measuring
Measuring:
Measure your dog’s neck as you want the collar to fit (do not add extra length). You can also measure the length of your existing collar, starting from one end and going to the hole that fits.
Our collars are measured to the MIDDLE HOLES to reflect the dog’s actual neck size! We think this is the most accurate way to measure.
Sizing:
All sizes adjust 1” (2.5cm) smaller or larger than the given measurements

Available in the following widths:
- 5/8” (16 mm) Recommended for dogs over 30 pounds, 14″ and larger – LEATHER ONLY
- 3/4″ (20 mm) Recommended for dogs over 40 pounds, 14″ and larger – leather or Brahma
- 1” (25 mm) Recommended for dogs over 50 pounds, 16″ and larger- leather or Brahma

Did you know BLD products are designed to be repaired instead of replaced? Even if the item is not covered by our warranty (like for chewing), most damaged leashes can be repaired and made functional for a nominal fee.
BLACK LATIGO leather
Latigo tanned specifically for quality horse tack and premium pet products and has a high tensile strength. Your leash will start out a bit firm yet flexible and will very quickly soften and will continue to get better with age. The rich black color is drum dyed during tanning (rather than just dyed on the surface). Made in North America from select US steer hides. Stainless steel (silver color) hardware is standard.
English Bridle Leather in LONDON TAN
English bridle has a supple, satin-smooth finish and satisfying hand feel that is simply unmatched. London Tan, cherished in the 19th century for the finest horse tack, ages to a warm patina while keeping its lighter brown and orange tones. This full grain leather is 100% veg tanned with no metals or harsh chemicals. Made in North America from select US steer hides. ("English" refers to the style of tanning rather than a location.)
Solid brass (gold colored) hardware is standard.
Caring for leather: Your BLD leather gear will last for many years and only get better with age. Leather is resilient, don’t be afraid to use it in daily life. A light coat of conditioner rubbed in like lotion keeps it healthy.
