Return and Refund Policy

NOTICE:  Starting July 1, 2026, BLD is winding down business operations. BLD's Return policy has been updated accordingly.

New Policy for Customers in the EU— 14-Day Right of Withdrawal:

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery of your order, without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, log in to your account and initiate a return or cancellation request from your Orders page, or contact us directly at [your contact email].

Cancellations may be requested at any time before your order is fulfilled.

Exceptions — the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• • Custom harnesses and fully custom-made items (goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized)
  • Modification and customization fees already incurred

Return shipping costs for withdrawal-right returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or we made an error.

Revised Return and Refund Policy effective 7/1/2026:

Purchases and orders placed after June 30, 2026 will not be eligible for return or refunds. All sales are final. 

If you have an issue you’d like to discuss, contact us right away and we’ll find the best way to take care of you. If we've made an error, we'll make it right!

Customer is responsible for all related shipping costs (unless the error is ours). As a very small, artisan business, we’re unable to offer “free” return shipping the way large corporations can.

Orders cancelled before they are completed can be refunded (including cancelled harness or custom-made orders). Once a custom item has been made, the order cannot be refunded. 

Non-Refundable Charges:

• • Modification and customization fees (due to labor-intensive process)

  • Shipping charges (non-refundable)

  • All custom harness and any customized product orders (non-refundable once the product has been made-to-order)

Restocking Fees:
We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee on returns as needed.
If a return falls outside our policy or the item is not in resalable condition, a restocking fee up to 20% may be applied to cover handling and reduced value.
