This is a replacement breastplate for BLD's Mobility Support or Balance Assistance Harnesses.

Imperfect and irregular items may show stitching or leather flaws, have shelf wear or light use. See tab ABOVE for terms and conditions.

Replacement breast plate assembly for Mobility Support or Balance Assistance harness. 2″ wide breastplate comes complete with straps for attaching to the harness saddle.

Breastplate Sizes: 

• Small: 10″ for dogs with a 7-8″ wide chest (narrow breeds, and dogs under 50 pounds)
• Medium: 12″ for dogs with an 8-9″ wide chest, includes most labs and female goldens
• Large: 14″ for dogs with a 10-11″ wide chest, includes all GSDs and golden retrievers over 75 pounds
• Extra Large: 16″ for dogs with an 11-14″ wide chest, includes most dogs over 130 pounds

The size measurement refers to the length of the oval part of the breastplate, use your dog’s width to determine the right size.See the size chart in the pictures.

Before you buy:

Please read the information in the BAH-MSH Complete Information Booklet, all information on the product page, and view the accompanying videos to thoroughly to understand what you are purchasing.

Measure and decide what features are critical for you before you purchase. It is very important to measure your dog and determine what size they need for each harness component. You also need to measure the person who will use the harness to determine the handle size. Follow the measuring instructions in the info booklet and on BLD’s website.

Be sure the harness saddle is made to accommodate the handle(s) you need. Harness saddles can only accommodate handles as described. Handle attachment mounts cannot be changed.

Straps Sizing Notes:

Straps have several inches of adjustment range. All harness strap measurements are taken from the center adjustment hole. There is 1.5-2” of adjustment smaller and larger from the given measurement. For example: a 30” girth strap adjusts from 28 to 32”. This means you can buy a strap that’s within 1 ½” of the dog’s actual measurements for a good fit (assuming the measurement is accurate).

New Replacement Parts are Available:

New, made-to-order harness components, including handles, straps, and the harness saddle itself can be purchased anytime at the regular online price. If the part you need, an MSH Belly Strap for example, is not available in the size you need, you can order a new one to complete or refit your harness.
