Description
Use this Traffic Lead for heeling or walking a big dog in public. The short length allows direct control over the dog when a long leash is just too much. When attached to a collar or harness, it is just the right length to walk comfortably without getting tangled in a long leash.
About the material: Strong as a Brahma bull, this man-made leather alternative makes a fantastic all-weather dog leash. It can take a beating through brush, creeks, and saltwater. It is flexible and has a nice weight and feel that resembles leather. It won’t give you rope burn or absorb dirt like rope or nylon leads. Backed by our unmatched Lifetime Warranty and available in several colors (see the Brahma & Hardware Options tab for list of colors).
Select Length:
- 12″: Loop style (overall length including bolt snap)
- 18″, 24″, or 30″: Short Leash style (overall length including bolt snap)
Choose the width:
- ½” wide (12.7 mm): For most dogs (medium and large breeds); medium sized hardware
- ¾” wide (19 mm): For large breeds; heavy-duty; XL sized hardware; *Not recommended for dogs under 80 pounds
Hardware:
- STAINLESS STEEL bolt snaps (silver looks great on all colors). These are the highest quality and most reliable leash snaps we've found.
- SOLID BRASS bolt snaps available upon request, however we don't care for the clash with hunter orange. :) NOTE: In rare instances brass may tarnish and rub off on light colored / white dogs

Strong as a Brahma bull, this man-made leather alternative has a nice weight and grip that is more leather-like than other leash material!- Constructed with poly webbing on the inside and a durable, non-tacky PVC coating on the outside

Assembly Method:
- 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch widths are assembled with solid brass Chicago screws; nickel plated screws are used with stainless steel hardware.
- Skinny 3/8 inch width is assembled with rivets

If your leather or Brahma leash, training equipment, or harness ever breaks or is damaged from regular use, simply contact Bold Lead Designs for a replacement or repair at no charge. There is no time limit. This is the best warranty in the industry.
Warranty is limited to replacement or repair of covered product only, and does not cover things outside of our control such as chewing, neglect, misuse, normal wear, external trauma, or customer alterations. (Even if the item is not covered it often can be made functional again with a repair for a reasonable cost.) Customer is responsible for all related shipping costs.
Exclusions: Items we don’t make in our workshop, such as accessories and consumable items, and items made of cloth/fabric are excluded. Non-leather and non-Brahma items, bldBASICS, any item sold "as-is", used, on clearance, that is imperfect and any item marked with a star is excluded from this warranty or guarantee. Some customized options may be excluded from warranty; such excluded items will be sold with information indicating a warranty is not included.
Limitation of Damages:
Guarantee/Warranty is limited to replacement or repair of product only. Bold Lead Designs, LLC, or its associates, cannot be responsible for any claims or liabilities beyond the scope of the guarantee. Chewing, neglect and misuse, normal wear, external trauma, customer alterations, and items marked with a star void all warranties. No other warranties, expressed or implied, are made. User assumes all responsibility for proper and safe use of product and care of animal. Customer pays for shipping for warranty claims. This warranty is nontransferable. Bold Lead Designs reserves the right to determine if a repair or replacement is covered by our warranty.

This traffic lead has become one of my favorite purchases ever! I’m even thinking of buying another one! I had a ring added to the handle, so I can clip my dog’s brahma leash to the traffic lead. This way I have the option of having my dog close by me by holding the traffic handle, or I can let him stray a little farther by giving him the entire length of the leash. It makes a normal leash super versatile!
