Product specifics: Pro Bike Gear Race Control Handlebar Tape. Hi-End Microfiber Smart Silicone. Adhesive back. Made in Taiwan for Shimano, the Netherlands. Tape is 100mm long x 30mm wide x 2.5 mm thick.
Designed for bicycle handlebars (high end road bike racing, to be specific), is the best option we’ve found for our harness handles. Lightweight, durable, and easy to clean, plus it has a great texture and provides a comfortable grip.
Replacement Handlebar Wrap Kit includes one roll of padded gel tape and two pieces of reflective safety tape to finish the ends. Easy to install: Just wrap around handle bar while applying some tension. Cut off the excess with scissors and secure the end with a little electrical tape, then apply the reflective tape to the ends for a finished look. You can add an extra layer right over your existing handlebar wrap or peel off the old stuff and re-wrap with new.

Made from premium top grain, supple, light and durable garment leather, this Leather Accessory Pouch resembles a designer purse in feel, quality, and aroma.
This functional and soft pouch features two zippered compartments: the roomy, wedge-shaped compartment can hold daily essentials, such as a mobile phone, wallet, treats, clean up kit, medication and the front pocket is sized to hold money or cards. The back of the pouch has belt loops (can slide over any belt) as well as spring snaps so you can clip it to belt loops or the D-rings on your dog’s harness. BLD’s accessory pouch is the perfect tool for your service dog harness to keep essentials handy. This lightweight and utilitarian pouch is a fantastic hip/waist pouch, too. Use it to hold treats, clean-up supplies, medicine, or emergency supplies.
Expertly hand made in Colorado from premium nylon fabric, this pouch features a roomy main pouch, front zipper pocket, reflective stripes, accessory d-rings, and a Velcro panel to attach a patch or badge. The pouch can be clipped onto the standard d-rings on BLD’s service dog harnesses, or can be worn as a waist pack by attaching to the belt-loops on your jeans, or worn on any belt as a waist pack.

- The standard support bars accommodate handles heights of 8″ or less (the metal on the handlebar must be 1/8″ thick to fit)
- The tall support bars accommodate any size handle (these bars are heavy 1/4″ thick metal designed for tall handles over 9″)
- Pull-Rings are available for people with limited dexterity who have trouble grasping a small knob, pull-rings can be added to make it easier to operate the handle folding mechanism.
- Magnetic Latch option for those with very limited dexterity
Saddle size and support bars/handle mounts cannot be changed after the saddle is constructed.

MSH Harness Size:
Standard - For most dogs 60-110 pounds, with a girth size of 28-36 inches that are 21 inches or taller measured at the withers. Best choice for most German Shepherd Dogs and Belgians, retrievers, smaller Great Pyrenees, and larger standard poodles and doodles.
Intended for dogs 60 pounds or larger.
Extra Large - For most dogs 100-170 pounds, with a girth size of 34-42 inches that are 26″ or taller. Best choice for most Newfoundland dogs, large Great Pyrenees, Larger Bernese Mountain Dogs, larger Rottweilers, smaller Great Danes, etc.
Giant - For dogs that meet or exceed a minimum of 150 pounds, a girth of 40 and 12 inch width. Best choice for larger Great Danes, Mastiffs, etc. If not all three minimums are met, choose XL.
We do have a XXL for dogs that fall between XL and giant size; this size is rare, and only available by custom order. It is the same price as a giant. All straps from the XL size fit the XXL saddle. Giant straps do not.

These extenders buckle onto the existing breastplate straps, adding a couple of extra inches to each side to allow for your original breastplate to be one size larger. Includes one pair of extenders (2 pc.).
Extension strap is 3/4″ wide with buckle on one end.
Compatible with BLD’s Balance Assistance Harness (BAH) and Mobility Support Harness (MSH). Breastplate and harness not included.
Our Mobility Support Harness (MSH) and Balance Assistance Harness (BAH) are designed with replaceable parts. This is a replacement breastplate.
Replacement breast plate assembly for Mobility Support or Balance Assistance harness. 2″ wide breastplate comes complete with straps for attaching to the harness saddle.
Available in 4 width sizes:
- Small: 10″ for dogs with a 7-8″ wide chest (narrow breeds, and dogs under 50 pounds)
- Medium: 12″ for dogs with an 8-9″ wide chest
- Large: 14″ for dogs with a 10-11″ wide chest.
- Extra Large: 16″ for dogs with an 11-14″ wide chest.
- GIANT: dog’s width plus 4″ for dog’s 15″ or larger
The size refers to the length of the oval part of the breastplate. If your dog has a heavy chest build or has a very long back, order the next size larger.
Replacement thumb screw bolts for the Mobility Support Harness; the bolts hold the handle on the harness. This is the “new style” that screws into the female nuts on your harness support bars for harnesses made AFTER December 2015.
Choose the set of hardware you prefer (we will add Teflon plumbers tape to each bolt so it stays snug):
- Complete set: Includes a pair of round thumb screw bolts, a pair of tee thumb screw wing bolts, and 6 rubber washers. Just like the kit that came with your harness.
- Round Bolts: A pair of round knurled thumb screws plus washers.
- Wing Bolts: A pair of tee thumb screws plus washers.
- Locking Bolt Kit: for those who want to install a set of bolts that do not come unscrewed. Includes wing bolts (Tee thumb screws) and locking wingnuts. Installation requires tools including hex key (Allen wrench) and channel lock plyers and patience.
Select size based on the thickness of the support bar.
- Standard support bars use the standard size bolts (for 1/8″ thick support bars).
- TALL handles need the longer bolts to fit the heavy weight support bars (for 1/4″ thick support bars). See photos for details.
Tips for using your MSH handle:
- Always loosen the bolts before folding the handle. Failure to do so may ratchet the right side too tight and cause it to lock up.
- Always tighten the bolts after raising the handle. Not too tight, just a little snug.
- Place the rubber washer on the bolt before screwing into the harness handle.
- Keep a spare bolt handy at all times.
- If the bolts want to loosen too much, apply some Teflon plumbers tape to the threads of the bolts.
- Consult your harness Owner’s Manual for more info.
- All thumbs screws are standard “quarter twenty” thread bolts: SAE 1/4-20
