Features and Benefits
Five O-rings are strategically placed along the length of this leash to offer the most configurations possible. This means that you can take the snap at either end of the leash and clip it to any of the O-rings to make your leash nearly any length you need! “Double Up” the leash by clipping TWO rings at once for even more variations.

Our 8-Way Leads features a bolt snap at each end, 3 fixed rings, and one loose ring. This leash does NOT HAVE A FIXED LOOP HANDLE, rather, it has a bolt snap at each end so you can use the leash in any configuration. This means that you can form a loop handle by clipping the bolt snap at the "handle-end" onto the first fixed ring. As with all leashes handcrafted in our own workshop, the 8-Way comes with our unmatched Lifetime Warranty.
6 ft. 8-Way Functionality Highlights
- Just over six feet long at approximately 82 inches/208 cm long from bolt snap to bolt snap.
- Can be shortened or lengthened to make variable lengths (6, 4 ½, or 3 ½ foot lead)

1) Would you prefer a different hardware color? Check the box to have your leash made with the "other" hardware color. Examples:
- Brahma comes with stainless steel (silver) - "other" hardware color would change it to solid brass (gold)
2) Would you like a belt option? Check the box to add an Adjustable Ring Fob to the center segment to wear the leash around your waist.
3) Does your dog chew or bite the leash? Have your leash made with a premium flat link stainless steel chain at the dog-end of the leash. Loose ring for slip collar will be omitted. Only available on XL 3/4" size, heavy-duty chain (all hardware will be silver).

About Brahma
The only vegan material that performs like leather. Brahma is a coated webbing material constructed with poly webbing on the inside and a durable PVC coating on the outside. This material can take a beating through brush, muck, and saltwater.

We only have premium quality hardware in our workshop. Bolt snaps are our standard leash snaps, available in solid brass and stainless steel. Specialty hardware for this small size include our exclusive Locking Carabiner Snap, and a tiny spring/lever snap made in Germany. (Tiny sprig/lever snap only fits on small gage D-rings, it won't fit the heavy rings on bulky dog gear. It does fit our small and extra small collars!)

¾" wide (19 mm): For large and giant breeds as this is a heavy-duty leash (not recommended for dogs under 80 pounds)

If you need a length that is not listed: Order the next size up and under other Other Custom Requests select "make it shorter" write in the desired length. (Example: if you want 12 feet, order the 15 ft.)
Customizations
Handle Style:
- Regular Loop Handle (most popular!)
- Regular Loop Handle with a loose O-ring in the handle loop
- End in an O-Ring (no handle loop)
- Bolt Snap on Handle End (no handle loop)
- No Handle (no handle loop or hardware): Great for Tracking leads!
- Open Handle (bolt snap that clips to a fixed O-ring 18" from the end): Overall length is measured with the handle loop closed.
Quick-Grab handle: add a second handle loop for convenience or control. Quick-Grab handles can be positioned at the "dog end", or along the length of the leash as desired.
- For handles along the length of the leash, measure the distance from the "dog end" Example: you may want a handle at 3 feet from the dog end to hold your dog close.
- Quick-Grab Handles are made with the center of the handle grip at the requested measurement. Requests made that are 18" or less from the dog end will be crafted at the dog end.
Add O-rings:
- Loose ring on the handle loop
- Fixed ring in the handle joint
- Loose ring with a fob for a built-in slip collar
Distance Marker: a smooth marker rivet. Perfect for CGC training!
Example: you may want a distance marker at 6 feet from the dog end on a 10-foot leash.

Premium Hardware Options:
Bolt snaps are our standard hardware, we've found these to be the most reliable. Other hardware and specialty snaps are also available.
- Stainless steel Bolt Snaps are standard (silver color)
- Solid brass bolt snaps (gold color not recommended on orange)

Scissor/trigger style snaps in stainless steel (may be less reliable than a bolt snap)

Locking Carabiner Snaps are a BLD exclusive! Choose this if you desire a snap that can lock closed for dogs that somehow shake loose of regular leash snaps. (Must be used in the locked position.)
- Shackle Snap / panic release are available for XL 3/4" and XXL 1" wide leashes ONLY. Custom fabricated for BLD with a swivel, this snap is very secure under heavy load, and can be released instantly by pulling the release cord.
- Alligator Locking Jaw Snaps are available for XL 3/4" wide leashes ONLY. These are heavy-duty snaps designed for working/police/military dog applications. Made in Italy from solid bronze.
NOTES: stainless steel is best for oceanside conditions; brass can occasionally stain white fur; scissor/trigger snaps are not as secure as other options - we recommend using with a safety cord
